Deactivating Licenses
1. Deactivate from Plugin
The easiest method if you have access to the machine:
- Open VX Core FX in your DAW
- Go to Settings/Preferences in the plugin
- Click "Deactivate License"
- Confirm deactivation - activation will be freed immediately
2. Deactivate from Your Account
Remotely deactivate without accessing the machine:
- Log in to your account at voxuma.com
- Navigate to My Account → Licenses
- View all active machines for your license
- Click "Deactivate" next to the machine you want to remove
3. When to Deactivate
Common scenarios for deactivation:
- Upgrading to a new computer
- Reformatting your system
- Selling or retiring a machine
- Freeing up slots for temporary setups
4. Reactivation
After deactivating, you can reactivate:
- Open VX Core FX on your new/current machine
- Enter your license key
- Activation is instant if slots are available
- No waiting period between deactivation and reactivation
Machine Limit Reached
1. Check Active Machines
View which machines are currently activated:
- Log in to voxuma.com/my-account
- Go to the Licenses section
- See all 3 active machines listed
- Machine names show computer name and date activated
2. Deactivate Unused Machines
Free up activation slots:
- Identify machines you no longer use
- Click "Deactivate" for those machines
- This frees up slots immediately
- You can do this remotely without accessing the old machine
3. Machine Identification
Can't tell which machine is which?
- Machine names show computer hostname
- Activation date helps identify machines
- If unsure, deactivate all and reactivate current machines
- Contact support to rename machine identifiers
4. Upgrade to Studio License
Need more activations?
- Studio license includes 5 machine activations
- Upgrade for discounted price from your account
- All activations transfer to new license
- No need to deactivate existing machines
5. Temporary Activations
For project studios or collaboration:
- Deactivate a home machine temporarily
- Activate on project studio machine
- Deactivate studio machine when done
- Reactivate home machine
Lost License Key
1. Check Your Email
Your license key was sent to your purchase email:
- Search your inbox for "Voxuma" or "VX Core FX"
- Check spam/junk folders
- Subject line: "Your VX Core FX License"
- Email sent from: [email protected]
2. Log In to Your Account
All licenses are stored in your account:
- Go to voxuma.com and log in
- Navigate to My Account → Licenses
- View all your licenses and keys
- Click to reveal or copy license keys
3. Use "Forgot Password"
If you can't access your account:
- Click "Forgot Password" on login page
- Enter the email used for purchase
- Check email for password reset link
- Create new password and log in
4. Contact Support
If you still can't find your license:
- Email [email protected]
- Include: Name, purchase email, and order date
- We can verify your purchase and resend license
- Include PayPal transaction ID if available
Upgrade to Studio
1. Upgrade Benefits

- 5 machine activations (vs 3 for Standard)

2. Upgrade Process
How to upgrade from Standard to Studio:
- Log in to your account at voxuma.com
- Go to My Account → Licenses
- Click "Upgrade to Studio" next to your license
- Pay the upgrade price (discounted from full price)
3. What Happens After Upgrade
Seamless transition to Studio license:
- Your current activations remain active
- New license key issued (keep for reference)
- Existing plugin installations continue working
- May need to reactivate to enable Studio features
4. Pricing
Upgrade cost and payment:
- Standard: $199
- Studio: $299
- Upgrade from Standard to Studio: $100
- You only pay the difference
5. Multi-License Management
After upgrading:
- Old Standard license is automatically retired
- Studio license replaces it in your account
